About Us
Launched in 2023, Case@LUMS stands as the flagship event of LUMS Consultancy Group, catering to high school and university students. Modeled after international counterparts, it immerses participants in real-world scenarios, encompassing financial, market, industry, consumer, and corporation analysis – a dynamic launch pad for future corporate endeavors.
Case@LUMS uniquely combines competition and rich learning for anyone interested in problem-solving, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds. In collaboration with esteemed clients, Case@LUMS offers a platform where students connect with industry leaders, fostering idea exchange, learning, and opportunities for professional growth.

LCC 2018-2020
The LUMS Casing Competition was an annual event that took place between 2018 and 2020. It was a first-of-its-kind casing competiton held at LUMS, attracting delegates to participate from across the nation.
Case@LUMS 2023
Case@LUMS was an intra-LUMS event launched in 2023 with the hope to rekindle casing events post-pandemic, while offering a priceless experience in honing critical thinking skills to face real-world problems. Case@LUMS' success commits LCG to expanding its ambitions for casing competitions in Pakistan and to make casing events a norm here.
About The Case
Participants will participate in a weekend-long casing competition made to simulate real-world business challenges.
The case will be released on Thursday and will feature an issue a company is facing, along with the relevant background information. Teams will have a 30-hour deadline to analyze the data and statistics to reach a conclusion and offer recommendations based on their research.
After each team has submitted their presentation, a number of shortlisted teams will receive an invitation to present their deliverables to a panel of industry-leading judges.
Team Specifications
High school students and undergraduate university students are encouraged to apply, with the competition having distinct categories for high school and undergraduate participants to ensure fairness. Teams can include 3-5 members.

No, not at all. Our dedicated department for Learning and Development will offer casing resources, workshops, and provide examples of past cases to ensure that all participants, regardless of prior experience, have the necessary support and resources to excel in the competition.
No, there are separate categories and awards for high school and university participants in order to ensure fair recognition and competition.
No, the competition assesses problem-solving abilities, innovative solutions, and the capacity to justify and ground ideas in reality. No specific expertise is a prerequisite.
Undergraduate university students (both LUMS and non-LUMS) and high school students (O and A Levels, F.S.c, F.A, and Matric students) are eligible to participate.
